90-Minute Trauma Therapy Intensives

Your healing deserves a pace that honors you and your needs.

If you’ve experienced trauma, you know how hard it can be to feel safe, settle in, and begin to open up—especially on a time limit. Traditional therapy sessions often feel like they end just as you’re starting to get somewhere.

That’s why I offer 90-minute trauma-informed sessions—a slower, more spacious experience that honors your nervous system, your pace, and your healing process.

More time. More space. More safety to go deeper.

These sessions are for you if:

  • You often feel rushed or cut off in the traditional time-length of therapy sessions

  • You need more time to feel grounded and safe before going deeper emotionally

  • You’re working through complex trauma, childhood wounds, or attachment injuries

  • You want fewer sessions with more depth and space to process

  • You’re ready to engage more fully without worrying about the clock

In our extended sessions, there’s room to:

  • Start gently, with time to settle your body and mind

  • Follow what’s coming up without needing to hold back or mark it for the next session

  • Slow down and stay present with what matters, without feeling pressured by the clock

  • End with additional care and intention—so you leave feeling more whole, not raw, exposed, and dysregulated

A few important details:

  • 90-minute sessions are offered virtually by request at an extended rate of $325 per session, reflecting the additional time, depth, and care provided in this format.

  • Some insurance plans may not reimburse for extended sessions. Please check your out-of-network benefits if you are planning to submit claims for reimbursement.

  • You can choose weekly, biweekly, or flexible scheduling that fits your needs, goals, and capacity.

You deserve therapy that meets you where you are, not therapy that rushes you through. These longer sessions give us time to breathe, time to listen to your body, and time to honor the deeper layers of your healing.

Owner & Founder

Licensed Psychologist & Health Service Provider in Psychology (HSP-P) in North Carolina

Trauma Specialist

I’m so glad you’re here!

I am Dr. Cierra Listermann! I am a licensed psychologist and health service provider in psychology (HSP-P) in North Carolina. I have significant training and expertise in providing tailored trauma treatment to adult clients (18+) via teletherapy.

Since we will be talking about very personal and difficult experiences during our work together, we don’t need to be so official! Please feel free to call me Cierra!

I believe that every client deserves to feel welcome, supported, and heard throughout the course of their therapy experience. I aim to provide a warm environment and foster authentic therapeutic relationships within each session. Fostering a supportive, collaborative, and genuine connection with each of my clients is one of my major focal points during treatment. Research indicates that establishing a strong

therapeutic alliance is the most important factor in successful outcomes in therapy independent of the specific type of treatment. My ultimate goal for the end of every session is to have each client feel safe, understood, and cared for; creating the best environment for the trajectory of our work together.

To me, the trust and rapport-building process is essential when clients are seeking help with vulnerable and emotionally difficult concerns that take a lot of courage to discuss. The majority of my clients have expressed that I am typically the first person they have shared their story with due to feelings of shame, guilt, or self-blame (these are normal trauma responses that we will work on improving). I understand how challenging it is to open up about what has happened to you, as everything in your mind and body is screaming to keep it hidden and bury it deep. This is why I take cultivating our therapeutic relationship so seriously, and wear client’s trust in me as a badge of honor.

Walk with me for a moment.

Something happened to you.

It could have been long ago or somewhat recently. Possibly one specific event or several, maybe even over a long period of time in a complex way. You have been carrying around the intense weight of this experience, trying your hardest to tuck it deeply away in the smallest corner of your mind and ignore it through a white-knuckled approach, completely alone. But, things are starting to pop up outside of your control as much as you wish it wouldn’t.

 Any of this sound familiar?

  • Are you having difficulty managing overwhelming emotions such as anxiety, anger, or sadness?

  • Is your trust in yourself and others shattered? Are you experiencing triggers, flashbacks, or nightmares that you can barely cope with?

  • Are you consumed by guilt, shame, or self-blame thoughts?

  • Are you feeling unsafe in your body and in the world?

  • Do you feel emotionally numb, or on edge most of the time?

  • Are you lacking self-esteem and your sense of identity?

  • Do you feel isolated and noticing your relationships are starting to be impacted?

  • Do you feel you have no meaning or purpose in your life?

  • Do you want to make sense of what happened to you but don’t know how or where to start?

If any of this resonates with you, I’m here to help.

I believe anyone who has experienced something they feel was traumatic for them deserves a safe space to tell their story. A space where they feel heard, understood, accepted, and believed. I stand by the notion that there is no such thing as comparative trauma. You matter, your experiences that have impacted you are important, and your pain is valid.

Together, we will forge a path toward healing and recovery to grow beyond your trauma. Your story no longer needs to weigh you down and prevent you from living the life you want and deserve to experience.

Throughout our collaborative & personalized therapeutic work
